The Instructor
Sensei Curtis Glenn

 

 

Sensei Curtis Glenn is a 2nd degree Black belt in an old Japanese form called Shi Toh Ryu. His journey began in 1975. Curtis received his Black belt in 1980 and his 2nd degree in 1985. Curtis has been teaching martial arts for over 25 years.

In 1985, Curtis became the WMAF (World Martial Arts Federation) champ in katas, also in 1987 he became the AAU regional champion in Kumite. In 1992, Curtis explored tha arena of Kickboxing and remained undefeated in the Amateur division. After these accomplishments, Curtis focused on teaching and conducting Self Defense workshops to students at UNC.

Currently, Curtis is the instructor of MAWJAC International Martial Arts where he culitvates champions and leaders of all ages.
